Release of new movies and related publicity stunts

When "Wake up Sid" was about to be released, news channels were flooded with reports of the movie's screening being disrupted.. Reason being a group of ppl objecting to the use of the old name of the city we now know as Mumbai- in this movie.. Again when "3 idiots" hit the multiplexes, i'm sure all of us would've caught a glimpse of the infamous encounter of Vidhu Vinod Chopra (the producer of the movie) with the press.. and now that "My name is Khan" is slated for release, another controversy has already emerged..

I personally am gettin sick of these gimmicks.. Come on guys, find other ways to promote movies.. not by puttin up such acts which leave the audience in very bad taste.. U know i really wonder what is the need for such things.. The advent of multiplexes has ensured that the theatres are full atleast for the first week of the screenin.. so everyone concerned in the movie biz is making the monies, i wonder wat the fuss is all about..

Guess film stars hamesha apne character mein rehte hain.. cant seem to come out of "reel" life, and evrything has to be dramatised and made a big issue.. only then will they be in the limelight.. Maybe its not about money anymore.. its just about being in the news.. very cheap i say!

Movie buffs like me will go to watch a movie anyway- controversy or no controversy.. so i suggest to the movie fraternity and all concerned- Get a life people! remember the story of the boy who cried 'wolf'.. audiences are not always gonna sympathise with u..

so show us somethin creative on screen rather than off it.. :)

    NO.This time around its not about seeking publicity.Its about our fundemental right of speech.SRK expressed his opinion of including pak cricketers in the IPL,which is very much his right to do so.But the unfortunate part is,Udav and his brigade of lumpens are issuing diktats .And the irony of it all is bollywood and mumbaikers are silently gulping it.Who has given the shiv sena the right to decide,what we say or not say?That's the moot question.

First of all, a very happy Friendship day to all of you.. I think you have read enough quotes and seen enough reels depicting the importance of friends/friendship in our lives so I won't give you any more 'gyan' on the subject.. RAAZ PICHLE JANAM KA

A popular channel is telecasting a prog wherein a person is helped, to find out the reason for his/her problems by going into his/her past life through hypnosis. i was told about the concept of the programme by a colleague. even though i hadnt watched the programme just the description of the programme sent shivers down my spine.. although when i actually watched the programme i was bitterly disappointed. the programme was exactly how she described.. the person being taken back into his past to try and locate that particular instant in his life that left a lasting impact on the person..
