Apna time aayega.. :-)
We all like the real life stories of how the successful men and women never had it easy but succeeded despite all odds.. We try to draw inspiration from these 'success stories'.. For me this film was inspiring on so many levels.. It was inspiring to see how the protagonist turned his pain into beauty through his lyrics and rap.. Despite not having much support the protagonist grabbed the rare opportunities that came his way and tried to make an impact.. The most scene or the 'climax' for me was when the guy's father tells him that he is poor.. That's the reality.. And so his 'dreams' should 'match' his reality.. Then when the protagonist shows him his videos online and the feedback and tells him, that he has influenced people around..and that he has an identity.. He matters.. And he will work towards changing his 'reality' so that his dreams of making it big, match with his 'reality'..
That scene was very inspiring.. Because so many times I have let other people's opinion about me lose faith in myself.. I now realise that it's okay for other people to have an opinion about me or my life.. But I shouldn't let it get in the way of my work or my living my life on my terms.. I have a friend who constantly tells me that if I don't love myself, no one else will.. So the trick is to love yourself think you're the best and take it from there.. And to all those who feel hopeless or negative at times, remember that "You exist, therefore you matter".. Also you are the best there is.. Let no one tell you otherwise.. Be the light in the world and don't let anyone dull your shine.. And always believe in yourself.. Kyunki apna time aayega!!
