Deepika Padukone ko gussa kyun aata hai?


Well, it's a rhetoric question.. Not expecting any of you to answer this one.. But as you can guess this post has to do with the recent incident of a newspaper running an article with the caption containing a description of a certain err, body part of Deepika Padukone and the subsequent tweet by the superstar on twitter, slamming the media for this and all this followed up by other Bollywood stars tweeting their support for the 'Damsel in distress'.. I'm not sure if Arnab Goswami conducted a debate on the "News hour tonight".. wouldn't be surprised if he did since surely Deepika's cleavage debate would increase their TRPs than some other topic like the floods in J & K.. Anyway when this issue made headlines I remembered a friend from office who always remarked that Deepika is 'manly' with no feminine features at all.. I'm sure when she read the news item her first reaction would have definitely been "Cleavage? On Deepika Padukone? Where????"

Now, I'm not really sure what got her goat.. I mean if you've watched her recent movies you'll notice that her outfits leave nothing to the imagination.. I'm talking about her movie "Goliyon ki ras leela- Ram Leela".. I haven't watched the movie but the promos gave me a fair idea.. So this whole furore that's created owing to some article that a newspaper's featured and her outrage at the same is a bit of a surprise..Deepika Ma'am, surely you do realise that once you're a film star you belong to the public.. People are going to want a piece of you.. they're gong to want to know what you're up to.. And you can't expect "space".. This is what you signed up for.. Fame comes at a price Madam.. And this is the price you pay for making it to the top.. You're a fine actress and we love you.. And sometimes we tend to forget you're human too.. that's what the term "Super Star" means.. That you're a star...beyond the reach of the common man.. and people are going to do these kind of things in future too.. So just take a chill pill and enjoy all the attention because nothing lasts forever.. ;-) And just so you know people are curious by nature.. I have a lot of people commenting about everything I do.. and hell! I'm a nobody.. so its just human nature to poke our noses into business that's not our own.. You dont take take such things to heart.. You smile at people listen to them politely and say silently "Up yours"! ;-)

I think you have read enough quotes and seen enough reels depicting the importance of friends/friendship in our lives so I won't give you any more 'gyan' on the subject.. RAAZ PICHLE JANAM KA

A popular channel is telecasting a prog wherein a person is helped, to find out the reason for his/her problems by going into his/her past life through hypnosis. i was told about the concept of the programme by a colleague. even though i hadnt watched the programme just the description of the programme sent shivers down my spine.. although when i actually watched the programme i was bitterly disappointed. the programme was exactly how she described.. the person being taken back into his past to try and locate that particular instant in his life that left a lasting impact on the person..
