Four more shots please!!!

How's the josh?? Very high Sir!!! The 'Josh' did seem unusually high yesterday with soooooooooooooo many people sharing 'patriotic' posts.. Or pics of them participating in the unfurling of our National flag.. I don't mean to judge but I personally feel that this display of patriotism is reserved only for 15th August and 26th January.. Was feeling mildly annoyed when I saw film stars posting such posts..So, you love your nation but prefer to spend all your free time/holidays at exotic locations overseas.. Some of you even holding citizenship of other countries and holding properties there too.. Hypocritic much??? Anyway I was gagging with all this overdose of patriotism all over my social media feeds and was looking for something to distract me.. Came upon this recently released series called 'Four more shots please'.. What an absolutely brilliant series.. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.. Well, it comes under the category of a 'chick flick'.

#10YearsChallenge

Currently, Social media is abuzz with posts on the #10YearsChallenge.. Also called the #GlowUpChallenge or the #HowHardDidAgingHitYou challenge, its a 'challenge' where you post 2 pictures side by side, from the year 2009 and the other from 2019 and then caption it whatever you like.. So its basically just a socially acceptable mode to brag about how 'hot' you were 10 years ago and how 'hot' you are and continue to be in 2019.. So I'm looking at the posts and wondering what the fuss is about.. Well, let's say that for me it's just a case of 'sour grapes'.. 10 years I was slim and trim and over the past decade I have added a few (ahem), 'more than few' pounds.. So seeing some of these posts where it looks like people haven't aged at all is making me wonder how can people look consistently the same (read 'young') over the years.. Well if consistency is the key then I should win a prize.. I have been consistently sarcastic

Travelogue..

I know a lot of people who love traveling and exploring new places.. These people ensure they go on regular holidays and put in a lot of effort into planning that 'perfect trip'.. As for me, I'm not much of a travel enthusiast.. Trips for me are usually just an opportunity to spend more time with people and getting to know them better.. I have travelled with different groups of people and I've realised that all these groups have similiar personality types.. So here are some of the 'types' of people I've observed on trips: The mother: This is the person who is the 'voice of reasoning' in the group.. These people ensure things don't get out of hand and pull you back just before you decide to do something totally outrageous.. These are also substitutes for alarm clocks.. They will wake you up early in the morning to ensure you don't miss the complementary breakfast at the hotel, push you to have bath and get out of the hotel room quickly to
